To make our non-stick property so long-lasting, we tested our prototypes continuously over a certain time. The tests we made were:
- Non-stick tests: these tests simulate a typical daily use in the kitchen in the long run and combine both mechanical and chemical abuse. They also check the non-stick effect over time with the most common ingredients;
- Corrosion tests: some recipes require long hours of cooking at high temperatures and with extremely corrosive foods. These tests check the resistance in such conditions and look for the development of stains, air bubbles, or other defects on the non-stick coating;
- Abrasion tests: these tests check the resistance of the non-stick coating to withstand surface rubbing and scratches without showing signs of damage.
We use the PEEK non-stick technology. It is a non-stick cooking surface that’s proven to beat anything else on the market. 10 times more scratch-resistant than typical three-layer PTFE coating, and over 35 times more scratch-resistant than ceramic.
All our products are 100% PFOA free for safe food consumption and compliant with international standards such as FDA, LFGC, and REACH.
