We strongly recommend our clients to hand wash our knives to prevent damaging and ensuring a long life.
The dishwasher is not a suitable environment to preserve your knives the right way so we strongly advise against putting them in the dishwasher. Salt, humidity, and heat create a terrible environment for any sharp blade.
To preserve sharpness and prevent rust — a small risk with any stainless steel blade —, simply wash your knives by hand and avoid leaving them in contact with water for a long time. Just clean the blade under running water with a wet and slightly soapy cloth immediately after every use, dry it and store it in a safe place.
